Create your own version of a figure that could be from a long gone, advanced ancient civilization. We’ll create our sculptures using a variety of your own art stuff you would probably throw away normally. You will create one doll during the workshop.You will learn to work with resin clay, found objects and various finishing techniques to finish one figure
Kit fee of $12 payable to Instructor at class time includes metal paint, primer, patina solution various collage elements for students to use, wire for hanging, use of various pliers/wire cutters
Supply List:- Aves Apoxy Clay or Apoxy Sculpt
- Blow-dryer or heat gun and extension cord
- Fashion Doll figure and/or various doll parts
- Doodads, found objects and junk for collage-broken jewelry bits, screws, nails, bits of plastic or metal, snippets of string or yarn, watch parts, toys, beads, bottle tabs or caps, wire cut offs, springs, busted things, broken junk, screws, nails, bolts, fabric scraps, etc…. Basically, if it's small and looks interesting, pop it into a zip lock bag and bring it.
