Rena Tucker has been drawing in pen & ink, colored pencil and graphite since she was a small child. An “outsider artist,” her art training includes classes at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and Watts Atelier, plus extensive training with internationally renowned artists such as Johnnie Liliedahl, Jeremy Lipking, Bob Burridge and others. A cartoonist and accomplished portrait painter, she recently returned to her first love: teaching art to others. Rena loves seeing her students having fun and enjoying the process of creating art, delighting in their own imaginations and empowered to continue expanding their creativity once they leave the workshop and return to their own worlds.
